How Stone Warehouse became a national market leader
Stone Warehouse is a national supplier of aggregates. The family owned business offers a wide range of products sourced from the UK, Europe and the Far East.
Click Convert first began working with Stone Warehouse in 2012. Initially, they received mentoring services in order to allow them to internally manage their paid search campaigns. At the time, Stone Warehouse was a regional supplier of aggregate and had recently launched an e-commerce site. They were keen to increase their revenue and move into the wider UK market, an ambition that Click Convert was able to assist with.
From offering mentoring services initially, we went on to provide full management of Stone Warehouse’s paid search accounts, with the target of achieving a 1000% ROI.
We set about improving the quality of traffic that was being driven to the website. We data-mined all keywords to identify those that had failed to convert, and put together extensive negative keyword lists. The seasonal nature of the product required a varying approach. We ran skeleton campaigns during the winter months, and focussed budget according to the busiest periods. We also created remarketing campaigns, targeting those who had visited the website previously through display advertisements and Facebook campaigns.
When we achieved our target of 1000% ROI, we continued to refine the account to ensure continual success.
In Click Convert’s time working with Stone Warehouse, the paid search campaigns were able to dramatically increase their market share.
